A Rain Garden for Your Yard Series
Learn how to create a rain garden! Join us for one session or for the whole series. The first class provides enough information to get you started. Field and workshop sessions are offered for those who are ready to install a garden this year and want more in-depth instruction.

Raingarden Construction Workshop
Prerequisite: Raingarden classroom session.
We will visit several raingardens to discuss methods and challenges in raingarden design and construction. Learn about ways to convey water to and from the raingarden, the use of soil amendments, trench drains, stone retaining walls, and tiered raingardens. Register and prepay by April 29.

From I-94 take Century Ave. exit north, and travel 1 1/4 miles to E. 7th Street. Turn left on E. 7th St. at the Maplewood Nture Center sign.
From I-694 take 10th St. exit, travel west 1 1/4 miles to Century Ave. Turn right on Century Ave. and proceed for one block. Turn left on East 7th Street at Maplewood Nature Center sign.
From Hwy 36 Take Century Ave. South 3.6 miles to E. 7th St. Turn right on E. 7th St. at the Maplewood Nture Center sign.
