Pollinator Walk – Princeton, MN

Join Heather Holm, author of Bees and Pollinators of Native Plants, for an interactive pollinator walk at Prairie Restoration’s 380-acre farm in Princeton, Minnesota.

Heather will teach participants how to look for and gently capture (and release) insects. Participants get an up-close look at each insect captured and learn about their biology, their contribution to the pollination of native plants, or their role as a beneficial insect.

Meet your guide and fellow participants at The Native Plant Center. The walk is about 2 miles round trip and will be lead through tall and short prairies and along farm roads. All ages welcome!

Upon returning to The Native Plant Center staff will serve cookies and lemonade.
