Woodland Wildflowers – Kansas City

Tens of thousands of woodland wildflowers grow in the 140 acres of naturally planted woodlands at the Overland Park Arboretum. Ken O’Dell will give a one hour presentation highlighting many native plant species and describe how they grow, reproduce, and have continued to thrive in the woodlands of Eastern Kansas.
Native wildflowers highlighted will include: Trout Lily, Native Geraniums, Solomon Seal, False Solomon Seal, Rue Anemones, Jack-in-the-pulpit, Turks Cap Lily, and many others.
There is a $3.00 admission fee for non-members/volunteers of the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
Seating is available for 50 people.
