Before every cohort, we ask anyone who has expressed interest in being a Lawns to Legumes coach to confirm their availability for the upcoming cohort. For Spring 2025 we will be matching coaches and grantees in early March. Grantees will have until July 15th to complete their projects and submit for reimbursement. Our grantees all have different levels of experience with gardening and different levels of support they need from coaches. Some will have just a few questions while they plan their project, while others will desire a bit more guidance. On average, you can expect to spend around 3 hours on every grantee you are matched with over the course of the grant period.
In an effort to increase grantee engagement with coaches, we are trying something new for Spring 2025. Information collected in the form below will be used to create a sign-up where grantees can directly choose their coach, instead of expressing interest in being matched with a coach. Lawns to Legumes staff will review the sign ups and facilitate connecting coaches and grantees.
Grantees will have the ability to filter available coaches by county. Any additional geographic restrictions input by coaches will appear next to their name. An example of this would be: Alexandra Z. – Hennepin County, South Minneapolis. Lawns to Legumes staff will review all matches to help accommodate your requests.
