Join us on Saturday, August 1 at Art Shelf in Minneapolis for Blue Thumb’s first-ever Eco-Art Extravaganza—a free community event celebrating creativity, native plants, pollinators, clean water, and the artists who help us see our environment in new ways.

Day of Tips:

  • The event will be indoor/outdoor. There will be educational tables, a plant vendor, and bakery vendor outside. Most artists will be inside.
  • Attendees of all ages are welcome! Our education partners will have free activities for all to take part in, including button making, creating a climate zine, seed crafts, and more!
  • Snacks will be available to purchase from Green Garden Bakery and drinks, including water bottles, will be available for a small donation.
  • Bring re-usable bags if you plan on shopping art inside!
  • Free parking is available on-street around Art Shelf (see map). You will need to walk a short ways from parking to the event.
  • The nearest public transit stop is on Hennepin and 36th serviced by lines 36, 114, and Metro E Line
  • There is a bathroom available inside Iktomi Tattoo (attached to Art Shelf).
  • There is an accessible entrance (no stairs) to the Art Shelf.
