Join us for an in-person workshop on caring for your shoreline! Designers from Metro Blooms Design+Build will cover site assessments, shoreline design challenges, project options including rain gardens, buffer plantings, and shoreline restorations, plant selection tips, and more! Participants will also receive a Resilient Shorelines workbook and access to our accompanying online learning series. The 90 minute presentation will be followed by a Q+A session with the presenters and local water resource experts.

This workshop will specifically address topics in the context of Lake Sarah and Lake Independence and we highly encourage community members living within the watersheds of these lakes to sign up for this workshop. This workshop is free for all attendees. Registration is per household, so if multiple members of one family are attending, you only need to submit one registration.

This workshop is hosted by the Pioneer-Sarah Creek Watershed Management Commission and Hennepin County.
