Native Garden Maintenance and Shoreline Workshop
After a rain delay, we are excited to be hosting this workshop on July 23rd from 6-7:30pm at Moore Lake Park in Fridley.
In this workshop, we will be using the new shoreline buffer planting at Moore Lake Park to practice new garden maintenance, weed and native plant identification, and shoreline planting considerations. Whether you live on a shoreline or not, this workshop will be a great opportunity to learn about Minnesota-native plants and how to care for a native plant garden. Come with your questions! Our expert presenters from Metro Blooms Design+Build will guide us through the garden and answer your questions using the planting as an example.
This workshop is hosted by the Rice Creek Watershed District. Registration fees for residents of Rice Creek Watershed District will be waived. Find out if you are in the Rice Creek Watershed District here!
