Rain Garden Maintenance: Hosted by Rice Creek Watershed District

Learn how to take care of your rain garden! Join us on September 18th from 5:30 – 7:00pm for an in-person Blue Thumb Rain Garden Maintenance Workshop located at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton.

This hands-on workshop led by Metro Blooms landcare experts will cover practices for keeping your rain garden thriving and functioning. Get guidance for identifying native plants, managing weeds, timing for rain garden maintenance activities throughout the year, replacement planting and more.

This workshop is limited to residents of Rice Creek Watershed District. Roseville, Lino Lakes, and Shoreview all fall within the boundaries of Rice Creek Watershed District, in addition to portions of other cities.
