Resilient Shorelines – Eagle Lake: Hosted by West Metro Water Alliance

The Resilient Shorelines Workshop covers fundamentals that shoreline property owners need for protecting water quality near their home. This workshop covers topics such as: shoreline site assessments, types of shoreline projects, plant selection tips, regulatory reminders, and more. This in-person workshop will take place at Fish Lake Regional Park in Maple Grove.
The workshop will include a 90 minute presentation given by Metro Blooms Design + Build staff alongside local water resource experts, followed by an opportunity to ask site specific questions, get expert advice, and receive resources to install practices on your own property!
This workshop will specifically address topics in the context of Eagle Lake and we highly encourage community members living on Eagle Lake or within its watershed to sign up for this workshop. If this date does not work for your schedule, you are welcome to sign up for the workshop on 9/4/2025 that will be focusing on Fish Lake. This workshop is free for all attendees.
This workshop is hosted by the West Metro Watershed Alliance in partnership with Shingle Creek and West Mississippi Watershed Management Commissions and the City of Maple Grove.
