Resilient Yards: City of St. Louis Park

April 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$15

Gain resources and guidance for creating beautiful habitat for pollinators, protecting clean water, and restoring the ecology of your yard! Participants will learn do-it-yourself skills for assessing your yard and creating a project plan. Also learn about ways to redirect runoff, select and place native trees and shrubs, design a native garden, incorporate turf alternatives, and more!

During this workshop, participants meet in small groups with experts to get feedback on their project plans and learn about local resources for getting their projects in the ground.

To provide attendees with as much project assistance as possible, this workshop is split into two parts: 1) a self-paced Resilient Yards online course, which you will find in our Resilient Yards Online Learning Series, and 2) an in-person session where you can get feedback on your yard and planting project from Landscape Designers and Master Gardeners. The Resilient Yards online course was created so you can go through all the foundational educational content on your own in preparation for your live workshop session (located at St. Louis Park City Hall).

This workshop is hosted by the City of St. Louis Park.
