Gardener Comments
I started with a small pocket pollinator garden next to the street. Every year I have expanded by taking out parts of our grass lawn. Now most of my front is native plants with some annuals added each spring. I love watching the progression of blooms and which plants the pollinators love!
Wildlife Observed
Many birds, lots of different kinds of bees including a rusty-patch bumblebee, up to 10 monarchs at a time on my meadow blazing star and many other moths and butterflies. I planted Pearly Everlasting for the Painted Lady butterflies. Also rabbits and squirrels!
