I started learning about native gardening when I lost a large sugar maple tree in my front yard. I wanted to fill that space with something else that would help people gather, connect and relax in nature just like the sugar maple tree did. I received an L2L grant in 2024 and each year I have added a little more to my space. Now there is a large main garden, a corner pocket planting, a smaller milkweed garden and MN native sage planted around the exterior of my home.
