Clean River Partners (CRP) is watershed-based environmental non-profit in Northfield, MN. We inspire people and organizations to value, protect and improve the Cannon River Watershed’s land and water.
CRP’s work is currently comprised of three main program streams: community engagement, habitat protection, and conservation agriculture and crop research. Our community engagement department connects people to the river and each other through large community events, volunteer experiences, and educational opportunities. In our habitat protection work, we partner with organizations and landowners to preserve land, restore critical habitat, and increase public access to natural spaces. Our conservation agriculture program promotes practices that protect water quality, improve soil health, and support sustainable farming. We also collaborate on innovative crop research projects studying Kernza®, winter camelina, and wide-row corn systems.
