Culver's Root
Veronicastrum virginicum

Erect, native perennial herb usually 3-6 1/2' tall. This species has been used in buffer, shoreline, and vegetated swales. A wonderful landscape design plant for gardens, rain water gardens and shores. Restorations, such as fens, wet meadows, wet open woodlands, and stream banks, are good opportunities for this plant. Bees and butterflies love this plant.
