Notes/Description:
A cool-season, clump-forming perennial herb that is 18-24" tall and forms colonies. It is an excellent woodland plant with very attractive, nodding spikes. It is fit for a wide variety of restorations, especially in forest, shady, or calcerous sites. Because of its bunching nature, it can be used in landscape designs. This sedge is also useful in erosion-control or soil-stabilization sites, especially in shady locations.
