I had two trees removed, and their roots left bare spots the first year. I was impatient and reseeded. No sign of bare spots this year!
I also planted pollinator shrubs in the back.”
The front Sunny Bee Lawn is doing much better than my Bee Lawn in the back-black dirt?
I thought I was done planting until Hennepin County had a pollinator shrub sale, so I added 25 more! I should be feeding pollinators and birds naturally for decades!
Wildlife Observed
Dragonflies, bees, butterflies, and 3 baby (orphaned?) bunnies. Sometimes I notice the top of the grasses moving. 🙂
Deer leave me fertilizer “”gifts”” in the back and around the pollinator shrubs.
