Give your plants plenty of space! Even though they’re tiny when you put them in, they’ll eventually mature and be much larger than you’d think. Avoid time moving plants later by giving them plenty of space early on.
Maybe avoid native strawberries, they’re a great ground cover but they spread extremely quickly and require constant attention.
