I have tried several methods of site prep and by far the paper/cardboard method has worked the best at suppressing weeds. I did have my area prepped a year in advance of getting the grant approval. Prep work has made all the difference so I wish the program would allow for that as not many have pre-prepped areas.
Wildlife Observed
I live in city limits so the usual squirrel and rabbit. Many birds visit the site for bugs. In my grant area it is not in the flowering stage yet but I expect many visitors to come!
