Lawns to Legumes Grant Confirmation

If your application for Lawns to Legumes individual support was selected, this is where you can confirm your participation. All confirmed grantees will receive regular email updates providing tips and program updates. We have planting templates, lists of trusted sources for native plants, and all kinds of other information to help you get your project in the ground this fall. Any questions you have during the process can be sent to l2lhelp@bluethumb.org, where we will answer them and keep our Frequently Asked Questions updated with the most popular questions. We also have a limited number of project coaches; we will do our best to connect them to all grantees who request their help. If we are unable to do so, we will find other ways to help all grantees get their projects in the ground.

If you register, you will receive a confirmation email with links to attend the workshop(s). Recordings will be shared with all grantees after the events. The first workshop focuses on the logistics of the program; the second workshop focuses on planning and installing pollinator habitat.

September 8th, 12-1pm. DIY tips and tools for designing and installing an L2L project.

We are always looking for more coaches to help grantees, but at this time we do not have enough for every grantee to be paired with a coach. We have an abundance of guides, templates, and other information to help everyone, and beyond the above workshops we'll offer other opportunities to check in and ask questions (you can always email l2lhelp@bluethumb.org). So, please, only request a coach if you are sure you'll need one.

may we ask why? As the program grows, we'd like it to be as accessible as possible. Understanding what keeps a potential grantee from using the funding can help us improve in the future.

Did any of the following contribute to your passing on the grant?

The reimbursement process means I have to pay hundreds of dollars before being reimbursed, and that doesn't work with my budget.

The reporting requirements of the grant seem more hassel than the grant is worth.
